MARC WITH A C TAKES A POLL, YOUR INPUT IS ESSENTIAL!

See that pile of records and CD’s? That’s only about 60% of my available discography. For this reason, people sometimes ask me “where should I start?”, and my answer is usually to point them to the newest release, because that’s where my head is likely at when it comes up.

To aid this issue, I’m planning on putting together a roughly twelve or so song digital-only compilation called “Start Here” or something similar. It’ll be a collection of what you - yes, you - think are my best and most immediate songs.

So, here’s what I’d like from you. In the comments field at this Facebook link, please list up to twelve of my released songs that you think someone should hear first. They can be your favorites, or the ones that grabbed you first, or songs that you simply think more people should know about. If you only want to list a few, that’s fine as well. I’ll tally them up, arrange them well, and make a cool little compilation. I won’t count “likes” on comments, only the ones where the title is actually typed up. (This way, it’ll be easier to tell what is actually a vote.)

These can be originals, parodies, live tracks, covers, etc. Anything at all that I’ve made and released. Just know that this’ll be promoted as the starting point for newcomers, so the future of how some folks are introduced to my career is literally in your hands. Can’t wait to see the results. And, of course, if you’d like to share this for other folks to comment, the more the merrier. Thank you in advance!
